How to reinstall the Endpoint Protection Manager Cloud Bridge

Issue/Introduction

This document describes the steps to uninstall and reinstall the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM) Cloud Bridge.

Resolution

  1. Stop the following SEPM services.
    • Endpoint Protection Manager Bridge
    • Endpoint Protection Manager Bridge uploader
    • Endpoint Protection Manager Launcher
    • Endpoint Protection Manager
    • Endpoint Protection Manager API Service
    • Endpoint Protection Manager Webserver
  2. Go to the Control Panel, then uninstall SEP Cloud Hub.
  3. Navigate to C:\Program Files and ensure the Symantec Endpoint Protection Cloud Hub folder has been deleted.
  4. Repeat steps 1-3 on all SEPMs in the same site.
  5. On the primary SEPM, start the four remaining SEPM services.
  6. Follow Enrolling Symantec Endpoint Protection in the cloud to re-enroll the primary SEPM.
  7. Once enrollment has completed successfully, restart the SEPM services on the other SEPMs in the same site (if applicable).

Note: The Symantec Endpoint Protection Cloud Hub gets automatically installed during the enrollment from Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager to the ICDM.
