Issue/Introduction
Created a CEM package and installed it on an agent. The agent fails to connect and returns the error:
Failed to receive CEM certificates from https://<FQDN_Name_of_Server>:443/altiris/NS/Agent/GetClientCertificate.aspx in CEM mode, error: The data is invalid (0x8007000D)
Environment
ITMS 8.x
Cause
The communication profile had two certificates with the FQDN name of of the server. However, the thumbprints on both of these did not match the thumbprint of the certifcate that was bound in IIS on the SMP Default and Symantec agent website.
Resolution
1. Exported the certificate from the default site and imported it into the communication profile.
2. Created a new CEM package and installed it on the client.
