Collect Diagnostics in SSL Visibility versions 4.x and 5.x

Issue/Introduction

Steps required to collect diagnostics data from an SSLv device on version 4.x through the GUI.

Resolution

Through the Web GUI:

1. Go to Monitor > Diagnostics
   
2. Check all boxes and specify the time period for the data.
   
3. Click OK. The appliance will start the process and after it is finished, the browser will start to download the diagnostics to your computer.
4. Go to MySymantec Portal and upload the diagnostics to the support ticket.

Options for Diagnostics Collection:

Current State

• PKI: Certificate Data
• Policy: All the policies Configuration
• Platform: All the current hardware information (Temp, memory, etc)

Statistics History

• SSL Statistics: The historical report of the SSL sessions with errors.
• Host Statistics: The historical report of the Host communication.
• NFP Statistics: The historical NFP chip Statistics
• Platform Status Statistics: The historical Hardware Information
• Platform Interface Statistics: The historical  Interfaces information
