Dialog Error 'App must be ran natively' or Could not find "c:\program" when starting bootwiz

Issue/Introduction

Error dialogs are displayed after starting bootwiz.exe.

Dialog Error: could not find "C:\program"

or Dialog Box: "App must be run natively"

Environment

GSS 3.x

Cause

To locate the actual cause. Open windows event viewer. There will be an Error within the Application log with respect to wimmount.sys file.

In at least one case, the wimmount.sys file location in Registry was corrupted

Resolution

1. Run: Regedit

2. Navigate to the following registry key:   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\WIMMount

3. Locate and double-click the string titled "ImagePath" to edit the value. Modify the value data to the following:  system32\drivers\wimmount.sys

4 Click the OK button to commit the changes.
