Legacy/Older PacketShaper models (PS7500, PS12000, PS3500, etc.) running version 9.x is unable to download the Webpulse MAP files. Newer PacketShaper S-Series does not have this problem.
Legacy PacketShaper uses HTTP to download MAP files and ‘sitereview.bluecoat.com’ has stopped allowing HTTP for file download. The server is sending '302 Redirect' request to HTTPS site but PS is not reacting to the redirect request thus the MAP download fail.
Bug 269174 has been filed for this issue and we are working on finding a long term solution for this issue. In the meantime, even if the PS is unable to download the MAP files, Webpulse should function normally with the MAP files already downloaded in the past. However, if you have done ‘setup webpulse reset’ or if the latest MAP files have never been downloaded then you may have older version (version 7 instead of version 9). In that case, you can download the MAP files from S-Series and manually upload to respective folders on Legacy PS. Recommended Steps: 1. In S-Series PS you may already have the latest MAP files but if you want to be certain, you can do ‘setup webpulse map’ to download the latest MAP files. PacketShaper# setup webpulse map Please wait while downloading URL Category Map...Success. Version: 9 Downloaded: Wed Jun 5 15:18:38 2019 Please wait while downloading Web Applications map...Success. Total Web Operations: 23 Total Web Applications: 160 Downloaded: Wed Jun 5 15:18:39 2019 2. You can refer to the output below to locate the MAP files. You should use 'FileBrowser' from WUI to download/upload files, however, the CLI output below will be helpful to understand the file locations. PacketShaper# cd 9.1026/ PacketShaper# ls -l total 8 drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4096 Jun 5 15:18 urlcat drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 Jun 5 15:18 WEBAPP PacketShaper# cd WEBAPP PacketShaper# ls -l total 108 -rw-rw-rw- 1 root root 72869 Jun 5 15:18 appcmap.xml <==== Application MAP PacketShaper# cd .. PacketShaper# cd urlcat PacketShaper# ls -l total 5400 drwxrwxrwt 2 root root 4096 Jun 5 13:13 cache -rw-rw-rw- 1 root root 52739 Jun 5 15:18 catmap.xml <===== Category MAP 3. You can download the above files (appcmap.xml and catmap.xml) from S-Series PS to your computer. 4. Then you can upload those files to Legacy PS to the respective folders using 'FileBrowser' from PS WUI. 5. Then reboot the PS. You can see the following in the setup show output: On the units with old MAP files: Category Map: v7 downloaded on Mon Mar 26 14:12:24 2018 Web Applications Map: downloaded on Wed Jun 5 15:59:10 2019 After uploading the latest MAP files manually: Category Map: v7 downloaded on Mon Mar 26 14:12:24 2018 Web Applications Map: downloaded on Wed Jun 5 15:59:10 2019 After the reboot: Category Map: v9 downloaded on Fri Jun 7 12:07:42 2019 Web Applications Map: downloaded on Fri Jun 7 12:07:24 2019
