RSA key command line authentication fails following update to SMG 10.7.0

Issue/Introduction

Authentication to the Messaging Gateway (SMG) admin command line interface (CLI) no longer works as expected following the update to SMG 10.7.0.

No error is returned but the connection receives a password prompt even though an RSA key has been configured for authentication.

Cause

Changes to the SSH daemon have disabled RSA key based authentication.

Resolution

This issue is being investigated by Symantec.

Currently, there is no workaround.
