Issue/Introduction

When attempting to install Ghost Solution Suite 3.X on a Windows Server, the user receives an authentication error message with a truncated full computer name that asks them to check their credentials before continuing. 

"Error authenticating %ComputerName%\%UserName% on %ComputerName%. Please check your user name and password before continuing. You may already be connected to the computer with another user name and password."

Environment

Windows Server Platform

Cause

The server name exceeds the limits of a 32-bit application. 

Resolution

The server name needs to be shortened.
