Issue/Introduction

Description:

With CA Easytrieve release 11.6 installed, a program is getting compiled properly.

However, the Easytrieve version and the timestamp are not getting printed in the load module that is getting created.

Solution:

There is no real eye catcher and no time stamp in the 11.6 newly created executable when a CA Easytrieve program is compiled and linked.

You may find either

  1. UNNAMED JOB:
  2. UNNAMED SORT:
  3. or if NAME was specified for the JOB or SORT activity, this name will appear.

The user program starts with csect EZT$MAIN$.
