Issue/Introduction

When installing Symanted Endpoint Protection for Linux (SEPFL) on a CentOS 7 machine that is using Google's Bottleneck Bandwidth and RTT (BBR) kernel version 4.15.x, the AutoProtect kernel modules fail to compile.

Cause

Auto compile for Kernel modules failed because of a change in the kernel structure ‘struct timer_list’.

Environment

CentOS with Google BBR kernel

Resolution
