Issue/Introduction

Endpoint Protection for Linux (SEPFL) cannot update definitions from FTP liveupdate server.

lux.log indicates SEPFL trys to connect to FTP liveupdate server with port 80 wrongly.

Environment

Unmanaged SEPFL client under the environment only allowed FTP liveupdate

Cause

Liveupdate configuration for FTP connection is incorrect.

Resolution

This issue is fixed in Symantec Endpoint Protection 14.2 RU1 by making changes in liveupdate configuration file. For information on how to obtain the latest build of Symantec Endpoint Protection, see Download the latest version of Symantec Endpoint Protection.
