When using the Datacom Server PC client to connect to mainframe using CCIPC, the following message comes up:
CCI not in systemm - cci not allowed



Release: ANY
Component: CAICCI/MVS


Please verify that you are using for all components - DBSERVER, CCIPC and application, the same kind of architecture (64-bit or 32-bit).

Usually this problem happens when there is a mixture of such.

For example, if the application is a Microsoft Query in 32-bit, than use for 32-bit CCI CCIPCS32.exe and the 32-bit ODBC Datasource.

For a 64-bit MS Query use 64-bit CCI CCIPCS64.exe and the 64-bit ODBC Datasource.

The 32-bit and 64-bit version for the CCIPC application is stored in the CA Common Services delivered CAW0OPTN data set.
