Issue/Introduction

Problem:

You are trying to run the CAUNZIP utility on z/OS, and it's getting a RC=12 with the following message:

READY

CAUNZIP ZIPPATH(/usr/ftp/CAESD/) ZIPFILE(scart0.zip)
JAVAPATH(/usr/lpp/java/J6.0.1_64/)
CAUNZIP r14.0  (05/03/13)

FILE SYSUT3 NOT ALLOCATED, TOO MANY DATA SETS+

MAXIMUM NUMBER OF DATA SET ALLOCATIONS ALLOWED BY YOUR SESSION HAS BEEN
REACHED, YOU SHOULD FREE UNUSED DATA SETS

READY
END

Resolution:

Modify your JCL to include an additional parameter, DYNAMNBR=nn, as shown here.

 	//CAUNZIP EXEC PGM=IKJEFT01,REGION=0M,DYNAMBR=50

This parameter is delivered with the CAUNZIP example JCL delievered with current releases of CA Common Services.
