Issue/Introduction

Unable to integrate Cloud Connect Defense using the token under the Web Security Service Integration page.

The authentication token you provided is invalid.

Environment

Cloud Connect Defense integrated with Web Security Service

Resolution

Login to WSS console and check that:

  • You have a valid "Mobile Security" product license. Navigate to Service > Account Maintenance > Account Provisioning > Products
  • You have generated an Integration token for "Symantec Endpoint Suite". Navigate to Service > Account Maintenance > Integrations
  • Check that you are using the correct token

    The WSS portal will provide you with a long token, The first part of the token should be used (highlighted part in the example) as the integration token. e.g. 04ad72eacadf4eb4a34r3f4e83a20c0badf-=xfDlGrw)Dn|<[DKp.EqovNJNE([o={Jd#*F-10
