Show all Program Files when adding EXEs to Meter Takes 15 to 25 Minutes to populate

Issue/Introduction

When configuring Metering in a Product (Edit or create new Software Product under Manage > Software Catalog) if we put in a file name, such as winproj.exe, and check the box to "Show all Program Files", the process hangs for 15 to 25 minutes before the files will show. This happens for new or an existing product, and is consistent.

Cause

This is a known issue.

Resolution

This issue is fixed in both 8.1 and 8.5 versions. Upgrade to resolve this issue.
