VIP Tokens appear in VIP Manager as global.credential.state. Admins are unable to change this from VIP Manager.
VIP Manager
Assign the credential(s) showing the global.credential.state to the user through VIP Manager. Once added, delete them from the user. This action should reset the credential state.
If the credential is already assigned to a user and fails to remove, try adding the same credential ID and credential type to the user using a difference credential name. If successful, the credential can be removed from the user.
Note: If using VIP API Web Services, the VALIDATE or ACTIVATE API call can be used to 'reset' the credential state.
