Issue/Introduction

WinSCP does not work with Reporter 10.2.x and above

WinSCP unable to connect to Reporter

Environment

SCP support feature available in Reporter 10.2.x and above. 

Cause

WinSCP support is not available and is blocked by the Reporter system.  WinSCP attempts to use forbidden commands such as ('..') that attempt to access directories outside of /accesslogs which is forbidden.  Below are the allowed and Prohibited SCP options. 

Resolution

SCP upload support's the following: 

• Prohibits any SCP attempts to retrieve files.
• Prohibits any SCP destination path containing parent traversal ('..')
• Enforces SCP destination path prefix of /accesslogs
• Allows only SCP operations. 

                 - Forbids: WinSCP, SFTP, ls, rmdir, chmod, and any other shell-based commands.
