Issue/Introduction

I have upgraded my device to 2.4.1.1, then downgraded to 2.3.5.x, now I cannot delete iVM profiles I created in 2.3.5.x or 2.4.1.1.

Status: failed to delete vm profile win7x64-2: [Errno 39] Directory not empty: '/opt/mag2/vms/kvm/profiles/win7x64-2'

Cause

This is a known issue with upgrade to 2.4.1.1, by then downgrading back to 2.3.5, files related to driver upgrades from 2.4.1.1 cannot be removed.

Resolution

If the appliance is upgraded back to 2.4.1.1, it can only be deleted. It cannot be rebuilt.
