Issue/Introduction

After the update to SEDR 4.1, or when setting up a new SEPM DB connection on SEDR 4.1 using an Active Directory user, the database connection shows Pending indefinitely.

Cause

The SEDR 4.1 software adds an extra \ between the domain and username. Each time the connection settings are edited, another \ gets added in.

Resolution

This issue has been resolved in SEDR 4.2.  Symantec recommends updating to the newest version in order to receive all of the latest fixes.
