Upgrade Management Center from 1.x to 2.x

Issue/Introduction

You have a Management Center (MC) device running 1.x version which is going End of Life (EoL) in June 2019 and you want to upgrade to 2.x code.

Resolution

To upgrade from 1.x code to 2.x please follow these steps:

• Download the 2.x image file from your MySymantec portal (https://mysymantec.force.com/customer/s/)
• Host the image file on HTTP or HTTPS server.
• On MC 1.x run these commands
  • en
  • security ssl client-authentication disable
  • installed-systems add {http/s://x.x.x.x/path/to/file.bcsi}
• Wait for the upgrade to complete and issue restart reboot
