Cause

This is due to the voltage variance being within such a tight degree of difference that Reporter triggers the smallest degree of change and logs it.    The PSU voltage output with these variances trigger erroneous messages within the event logs.  This has been corrected in Reporter 10.3.x and later systems.

Environment

This occurs on Reporter 10.2.x appliances.  In 10.3.x this issue is not present.

Resolution

Symantec is aware of this issue and a current bug is being tracked to correct the specifics of the error reporting for accurate event-log messaging in the case of a true PSU failure.

Bug# RPT-104

Note:  Reporter 10.3.x and later do not have this issue.
