Issue/Introduction

You enabled [Export Logs to a Dump File] feature in [External Logging] function of Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM) and noticed that scheduled LiveUpdate failed event of Symantec Endpoint Protection for Linux (SEPFL) client is not logged in agt_system.log and not logged in SEPM console - [Monitors] - [Logs] - [Log type = System, Log content = Client Activity].

Manual LiveUpdate failed event is logged in both agt_system.log and Client Activity log.

Symantec Endpoint Protection for Linux (SEPFL) 14.2 managed client

Resolution

Issue fixed in 14.3 and above version.
