In Manage Jobs/Tasks, when right clicking on a folder and choosing 'New', options: Task , Server Job and Client Job do not exist.

Task Management is not configured properly or is corrupted
From the command prompt (running it as Administrator), run the following from the "
aexconfig /configure "C:\Program Files\Altiris\TaskManagement\Config\TaskManagement.config
If present (meaning, if you have 7.6 HF7 or 8.x RUx installed), run the following as well:
aexconfig /configure "C:\Program Files\Altiris\TaskManagement\Config\TaskManagement_Hotfix.config
Restart "Altiris Services", "Altiris Client Task Data Loader" and "Altiris Object Host" services
Note: if you have POST pointfixes for Task Management in specific previously installed, like the ones available under INFO3459, INFO4241, INFO5191, you should reinstall them since the above config files revert back to the default configuration.
