ICDx installer exits with error citing `bash\r' or /usr/bin/env

/usr/bin/env: `bash\r': No such file or directory

Resolution

To repair the installer

  1. In the folder containing the icdx installer file, type:
    apt install dos2unix
     
  2. Type: dos2unix FILENAME

    ...where FILENAME is the actual filename of the ICDx installer file
     
  3. Run the installer again to continue with the install or upgrade
