Why does the SD_Server.exe process keep stoping on the Scalability Server ?

Issue/Introduction

Introduction:                                        

  • SD_server.exe stops on scalability server with an application error logged in the Windows Application event log
  • No crash log is generaterd in DSM logs folder
  • No errors in TRC_USD_SDSERVER.LOG
  • SD_server cannot now be restarted

Question:

Why does the SD_Server.exe process keep stoping on the Scalability Server ?

1.    CAF STOP

2.    Rename ……\CA\DSM\ServerDB

3.    camclose & cam start -c -l

4.    CAF STOP
