What is the meaning of the NOOPEN parm in the following ILOG statement:
ILOG FILE 1 SUBFILE 0 DSN MVS.DB2.INSDB2.ssid.LOG01#0 PAGES 200 NOOPEN

Resolution

NOOPEN prevents GSS from opening the ILOGs unless an application requests that it be opened. This allows the user to share a common GSS parm file on multiple LPARS.
