Unable to decrypt large PGP ZIP files

Issue/Introduction

Encryption Desktop is able to make encrypted ZIP files, for secure transfer. However, when trying to decrypt a large file, approximately 3GB or larger, the process fails.

The PGP Zip may be corrupt. (-11999)

An error has occurred: out of memory

Environment

Windows clients running Symantec Encryption Desktop 10.4.2 MP1, 10.4.2 MP2 or 10.4.2 MP3.

Resolution

Upgrade to Encryption Desktop 10.4.2 MP4 or above.
