PectAgent failing to connect to task server over HTTPS after 8.5 RU1 update

Environment

DS 8.5 RU1

Cause

It seems like we are able to image Windows 7 machines with “Legacy Boot Enabled, Secure Boot Disabled” option in the BIOS.

In order to image Windows 10 workstation, we have to have “Legacy Boot Disabled, Secure Boot Enabled” option in the BIOS.

If we have “Legacy Boot Disabled, Secure Boot Disabled”, the PC images fine but fails to boot to production (loops through “windows repair” sequence).

In addition, we noticed that Windows 10 machines successfully imaged and working start bluescreening when we install Symantec Endpoint Encryption. 

Resolution
