After upgrading from Workflow 8.5 to 8.5 SP1 Application Properties cannot be accessed. Application Properties are accessible and can be worked with in the Portal but are not available or not working in the projects.

ServiceDesk/Workflow 8.5 upgraded to 8.5 RU1.
There is a known issue with Workflow upgrades from 8.5 to 8.5 RU1 due to a change in how Password type values in Application Properties are encrypted. Workflow installer does not address the change during upgrade process leaving passwords encrypted with the old 8.5 method and preventing the 8.5 RU1 Workflow from accessing the Application Properties.
Note that the entire Application Properties profile is inaccessible as soon as there is at least one problematic password type value in it. Depending on situation, a problematic password value can also block using any Application Properties.
To resolve the problem first re-enter data to all Password type values.
