Issue/Introduction

Customer creates a predefined computer for a Dell 620 server (other Dell servers may be affected) and then boots to automation. A match is not made and a duplicate record is created.

Duplicate is created.

Environment

DS 8.x

Cause

Dell servers are handled differently by the pectagent.

Resolution

Code changes were made in the pectagent portion of the code. This fix is available in the '8.1 Post RU7 cumulative pointfix' and in 8.5 RU1.
