The presence of firewall between the end user’s computer and the Web Isolation platform could result in the following connectivity issues:

  • White screens
  • No isolation
  • Console errors

  • Refer to the Admin Guide troubleshooting section on Common Connectivity Issues.
  • Enable connectivity on all required ports.

NOTE: Different Web Isolation deployment modes, i.e., proxy or portal, require opening different ports.

For further information, see the Symantec Threat Isolation Platform (STIP) Guide for Administrators section on Installing the Symantec Threat Isolation Platform, sub-sections on Defining Firewall Rules.
