Missing scroll bar under Data Source tab in a Computer Report

Issue/Introduction

The customer is having an issue with missing scroll bar under the Data Source tab in a Computer Report when there are multiple elements. Unable to expand window after adding enough resources.
In 8.1 RU7, the customer is unable to scroll down when there is a large amount of elements under the Data Source tab:



 

In 8.5 we don’t see this issue:


 

For the customer is causing problems because he is unable to navigate to different resources in that list, and using Up and Down keys don’t help neither, complicating his ability to modify/update his custom computer reports.

Environment

We see this on SMP 8.1 (at least RU5 and later) but not in 8.5.

Cause

Known issue. With ITMS 8.5, it is not a problem because we completely rewrote the report editor. It is absolutely new code that is not affected by this behavior.

Resolution

This issue has been reported to our Symantec Development team.
A fix is available for customers with ITMS 8.1 RU7. See INFO5191 under Cumulative POST-RU7 fixes section for SMP/SMA fixes (version 5 and later).
