Add or restore an export button to a dashboard widget

Issue/Introduction

You want to add an export button to a dashboard widget, or a dashboard widget's export button is no longer visible.

Cause

The option Can Export is not enabled for the dashboard widget.

Resolution

To add or restore an export button to a dashboard widget, follow this procedure:

1. Login to the RiskFabric portal as a portal user that has been assigned the dashboard administrator privilege
2. Navigate in the portal to Admin > Dashboards
3. Right-click the dashboard in question and select Edit
   The Dashboard Settings page will open
4. Locate the dashboard widget to edit and click the gear icon located just above its upper-right corner
   The widget editor will open
5. Under the Properties heading, check the box labelled Can Export
6. Click the Save button to close the widget editor
7. Click the SAVE AND CLOSE button to close the Dashboard Settings page
