Issue/Introduction

Follow the below steps to finish the Dissolvable Agent Servers (DAS) installation.

Resolution

1. Open an HTML5-ready Internet browser and go to: https://edrc.symantec.com
2. Enter your assigned user name and password combination in the logon window and click Login.
3. At the first logon, click the User drop-down menu (top right corner) and then click User Profile. Review the account details. The details include account status, expiration date,and total endpoint scan limit.
4. On the toolbar to the left, select Registration
5. On the Registration menu,click the DAS icon and then click Create a Dissolvable Agent Servers
   
6. Agree to the EULA and click Next.
7. On the Welcome panel of the DAS Wizard, click Next.
8. On the Before we begin . . . panel, select either, Name the DAS (recommended), or Use the DAS's default machine name. If you select the first option, provide a unique
   name that's easy to remember. Click Next.
   
9. On the Enrollment panel, copy the license key or click the Clipboard icon to copy the single use enrollment license key. If the key copy is successful the message Enrollment key was copied to the clipboard is displayed.
10. Click Click here to download the DAS installer to launch the DAS installer.
    
11. On the installer, click Run.
12. Select New install that needs enrollment and then click Next.
13. On the next installation wizard panel, paste the enrollment key you copied in Step 9, and click Next. The installation starts and checks for the presence of a valid .NET framework.
    
14. On the DAS installation . . . complete panel, click Finish.
