Error: "HTTP Error 500.19 - Internal Server Error" while trying to open the GSS web console

Issue/Introduction

When trying to open the Ghost Solution Suite (GSS) web console the following error is received:

HTTP Error 500.19 - Internal Server Error

Environment

GSS 3.3

WSUS on the same system as GSS

Cause

WSUS and the GSS Web console do not work together

Resolution

At this time the GSS web console and WSUS do not work together on the same system and this configuration is not supported by Symantec.
