Unable to transfer or add an existing submitter ID to a control center

You are trying to transfer or add an existing Cusotmer Specific Submitter ID to a control center.

"The resource is not found. Please ensure a submitter ID is valid or it is already registered."

"Invalid format. The request cannot be processed."


This is a known issue with current versions of SMG. This issue is slated to be fixed in a future release.


This document will be updated when the issue is resolved.

Currently the workaround is to register different submitter ID's for each control center or combine scanners under one control center.


  • The number of scanners attached to one control center should not exceed recommended limits.
  • Different submitter ID's will prevent scanners attached to one control center from sharing definitions with scanners attached to other control centers.
