Issue/Introduction

Symantec Email Security.Cloud accounts using Echoworx or Zix encryption service send an encrypted message accidentally and want to recall or delete the sent message.

Environment

Symantec Email Security.Cloud

Resolution

Contact Broadcom Support and ask for the message to be deleted from the encrypted pick-up portal.

Our support team will need one of the following for the email in question:

  • Message ID
  • Message Ref number
  • Sender, Recipient, Subject, and Date

With one of the above, Broadcom Support can reach out to the encryption service and have the email removed from the encryption pick-up portal.
