Unable to SCP to SpanVA use WinSCP

Issue/Introduction

Unable to WinSCP to the SpanVA.

WinSCP can connect to upload.elastica.net (Directly to CLoudSOC).

Cause

SpanVA  uses a restricted shell. Versions of WinSCP newer than 5.9.3 (Build 7136) are unable to connect to the SpanVA to test connectivity.

 

 

Resolution

Use Putty or some other SCP tool.

WinSCP version 5.9.3 (Build 7136) and older does work.

Newer versions WinSCP do not work because of the restricted shell in the SpanVA.
