Can the ATP 3.x or EDR 4.x appliance connect to a SEPM DB MSSQL instance running on an AWS cloud?

Issue/Introduction

You are using an AWS instance running the MSSQL database you use for your SEPM DB. You want to integrate ATP or EDR into your SEP environment and would like to know if this is supported.

Resolution

Symantec ATP and EDR will be able to connect to the AWS instance of MSSQL with no issues. The connection will say it is unencrypted. Please see this document for further information on this message:
