Software Management Solution

Issue/Introduction

When you click on any task instance of a Software Delivery task to check its status, a Warning windows appears and the details cannot be checked.

This task run has less child instances that it should: might be partially purged.

Cause

'Maximum number of working database rows:' setting limit has reached

Resolution

Follow below steps to fix it:

  1. On SMP console, go to Settings> All Settings, Notification Server> Task Settings> Clean up Task Data.
  2. Increase the value of Cleanup Options. For example, set it to 1 Million and 6 Months.

Note: Increasing this setting will cause more storage on SQL server. The other option is to truncate the Task tables as suggested on TECH144662.
