Question as to what the log entry stating "Skipping Discover Content root" means.

"Skipping Discover Content root"

For this customer the Content Root Enumeration under Manage > Discover Scanning > Content Root Enumeration was not configured.
That is, no content root was specified.

The "Skipping Discover Content root" entry in the logs is not really an error, just an advisory that content root enumeration is being skipped.
In this case, because there is no content root enumeration configured.
