Issue/Introduction

The Symantec Management Agent log files on Package Servers contain the following error: 
"Package server could not access own Web Site using HTTPS"

"Package server could not access own Web Site using HTTPS"

Environment

Windows Server 2012

Cause

Clients are configured via registry keys to talk to the server using TLS 1.2, but the Site Server Communication Profile was only set to communicate via TLS 1.0.

Resolution

In the Symantec Management Console,

1. Go to Settings>Agents/Plugins>Symantec Management Agent.
2. Choose Symantec Management Agent Communication Profiles>Site Server Communication Profiles.
3. Choose your server and then click on the "Edit" link for SSL certificates are defined for current profile and then click on the TLS 1.2 box.
