Issue/Introduction

User getting HTTP Error 503, The service is unavailable accessing Information Centric Tagging (ICT) consoles remotely and in localhost.

Cause

Resolution

 Please follow this steps:

1. On ISS server verify if ICTAppPool status is started and .NET CLR version is set to v4.0.

        

       2. Recycle Application Pool and test

       3. If you receive the error bellow attempting to recycle the application pool check if the Application Pool Identity it's correct (domain\username), if the account in AD is not disabled and / or expired credentials.

        

       4. Reset IIS(open command Prompt as Admin and type iisreset) and test.
