Steps to install ICT server components on Windows server 2016

Issue/Introduction

Windows server 2016 is now supported, on the ICT server side. Installing ICT server components such as the Administration console, Monitoring console or the web-service is now supported.

Bellow are the additional steps the Administrator of the system will need to perform in order to install ICT on Windows Server 2016.

Resolution

1. Open a command line as an Admin

2. paste the following line and click Enter:

   reg add HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\W3SVC\Parameters /v MajorVersion /f /d 0x06

3. install the required ICT server components
4. open a command line as an Admin again

5. paste the following line and click enter:

   reg add HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\W3SVC\Parameters /v MajorVersion /f /d 0x0af
