Issue/Introduction

Tasks show queued in the SMP Console.  Task Server agent logs show unable to find Altiris.TaskManagement.Common, Version=8.0.3780.0

Environment

ITMS 8.x

Cause

8.0 HF6 may have been partially installed or 8.0 was repaired without re-applying HF6.

Resolution

Scenario 1:
Reapply 8.0 HF6 to the SMP and push HF6 task server version to the task servers.

Scenario 2:
Resolved this issue in 8.1 RU7 by applying the Task Server update in the cumulative hotfixes for 8.1 RU7 as it upgraded /reinstalled the Task Services on the NS, and then the update was pushed to Task Servers.
