Issue/Introduction

What do I do when I get a 401 error when using FQDN instead of localhost or hostname?

Resolution

1. Open the registry
2. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa
3. Add a DWORD named DisableLoopBackCheck and set the value to 1.
4. Restart the machine
