Disable Caching on the RMS Configuration Database

Issue/Introduction

Slow client synchronization.

Resolution

For clients to synchronize faster, we have to disable some caching variables in configuration database of RMS.

Go to SQL server machine, where the RMS configuration database are located. Connect and open the database: DRMS_Config_rms_[domain]_[port]. Edit the DRMS_ClusterPolicies table and change the following fields to 0 (please refer to the names instead of the numbers – the numbers can be different):

• 132 – UseDirectoryServicesCacheDatabase
• 158 – EnableIssuanceLicenseCaching
• 159 - EnableNoRightsCaching
