Merge Text component does not properly handle <> in variables replacing them with &lt; and &gt; in the outcome.

Environment

Workflow 8.1 (all HFs)
Workflow 8.5
ServiceDesk 8.1 (all HFs)

Cause

Product defect.

Resolution

This issue is fixed in Workflow 8.5 RU1.
