When you try to install the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager Bridge service, the installation fails and rolls back.
The installer displays the following message:
'Symantec Endpoint Protection Bridge Uploader Service' (SepBridgeUploaderSrv) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services.
In the Event Viewer > System logs, you see:
A timeout was reached (30000 milliseconds) while waiting for the Symantec Endpoint Protection Bridge Uploader Service service to connect.
If you run Process Monitor (Procmon), it shows "access denied" for a few registry keys and folders.
The Network Service account does not have access to critical registry keys or folders.
Manually add the Network Service account to these items and assign full rights:
