Issue/Introduction

14.2 Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) introduced the WSS Traffic Redirection component to the SEP for Mac client. However, when only the SEP Manager is upgraded to 14.2 and the SEP for Mac clients are on an older build they will show up as 'Disabled' within the SEP Manager. This is in contrast to the 'Not Installed' status a Linux client will report.

Resolution

In order to address the status of 'Disabled' for Mac clients and WSS Traffic Redirection, the clients must be upgraded to 14.2, or later.
