Issue/Introduction

When newer Windows Updates are applied to a system (see publish date of this article for reference), Intel's AMT remote control functionality Keyboard-Video-Mouse (KVM) does not work when in TLS mode.
 

Cause

Issue is caused by changes in default TLS version protocol selection with Windows/.NET updates released after June 30, 2018.

Real-Time System Manager (RTSM) solution is based on .NET 4.5, thus it is affected. By default .NET 4.5 application uses SSL3/TLS1.0 in its secure sockets methods.

Resolution

This issue is fixed in RTSM version 8.5 and above.
